“I started working with Jim in early 2003 after the U.S. Customs Office of Investigations/INS Investigations merger and creation of the Department of Homeland Security and Homeland Security Investigations in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks and continuing after my transfer to the U.S. Marshals Service in 2016.
In the early years, Jim was instrumental in helping expose me to a new and entirely unfamiliar sector of Federal Law Enforcement after the merger. I leaned heavily on both his expertise and first-hand experience during day-to-day enforcement. This included tactics, tools and patterns used by both enforcement personnel and criminal organizations/individuals.
